Well, I didn’t really want to sleep tonight anyway. I took that time usually wasted on silly things such as dreaming and uploaded a few more photos of the happy couple. Check them out under the About Us section.

Time is just flying by. . .exactly 6 months from today Brett & I will be married. We’ve come a long way from when we met in May 2008. . .as far as wedding planning is going we’re doing pretty good. We picked and ordered our cake last Saturday then this past week I decided on and ordered our flowers. This past Friday I spent the day with my cousin/maid of honor and picked up several things that we can mark off of the check list — the only thing we have left to do is find a DJ and a photographer.
Ok, so were going to try something new here. I have setup a voice mailbox through Google. It allows me to have a widget on this site that you can call and leave a personalized message for us to hear. Well wishes and such. It’s a free service! Click the call button to the right and type in your phone number, Google will call you and patch you through to the mailbox. Then just leave your message and hang up.
I hope this works as well as i think it will. It seems like a good idea to me.
Don’t forget to click the “End Call” button on the widget when your done.

This weekend was filled with the usual house cleaning and an impromptu trip to our new location in search of cakes and flowers. We started the search looking for one bakery but after making the trip and finding out the recommended shop was closed at noon on a Saturday, we decided to go rouge.
Armed with my trusty iPhone and plethora of phone signal, we decided to ask the all knowing Google for our next step. First up on the list and highly recommended by the masses, Red Brick Bakery. We mounted up and made our way into the unknown. Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown the utmost respect. We were extremely please with the place and willingness of the owner to put her creative talents to work. “Send us a photo of something you like and we can recreate it, no problem.”, said the owner. Our minds were collectively put to ease.
